Bring water to a rolling boil
Use fresh water — 200ml per cup is a good place to start.

Add one teaspoon of leaves per cup
Let it steep for 3–4 minutes so the leaves fully unfurl.

Add milk and simmer, for chai
Bring to a gentle boil once more, or strain as is for a lighter black tea.

Add sugar to taste and enjoy while the aroma is at its strongest.

Cavallien began with a simple frustration: good tea had become hard to find on an Indian shelf. Everything was either over-processed or over-priced for what was actually in the pack.
So we went straight to the growers, chose whole leaf over dust, and left additives out of the recipe entirely. What's left is the tea itself — rich, aromatic and refreshing, the way a good cup always should be.
